Just moved here from OC. Living in Vista, but would like to find some trials or start digging in the Calrsbad to San Marcos area.

I heard of trails at lake Calaveras, I've searched 2 times out there and found nothing but a cool overflow spot near the dam.

I was lookin near Cal State San Marcos up the rode further there is a sectioned part for construction then next to it is a man made lake, it would be soooooo much work to get some jumps in there. but i guaranty it would be a great spot. lots of water to splash down jumps, natural sloping so you dont have to pedal. when i am back there i am going to check it out more and see what i can do.sshaun4232 wrote: Just moved here from OC. I work Mon thru Fri, 8-5pm. Once day light saving kicks in, I'll be down for digging after work. Just let me know when and where. I can also start to scout some other spots. Thanks.

Hey, anyone know of any trails in San Marcos? I just moved here, and I'm lookin' for something to ride! Let me know. Also, Felt or sshaun -- have you gotten started out there near the lake/csusm spot yet? If so, i'd love to help.

i lived in sm for a year... theres not much there since is such a small area, but theres a few spots in escondido. last time i went mountain biking at lake hodges there were a few packs.

i live in san marcos... the islands jumps got torn down 2 years ago. theres small jumps called the geysers at the top of the hill on borden
