10t or 12t freewheel where can i Find???

7/5/2008 3:30 PM

Well i have the stock chainwheel and freewheel on my dk and im switching to a tree 28t chainwheel and i cant find a freewheel small enough to equal out the gear ratio any ideas?

freewheels only go down to 13 tooth.

for less teeth on the rear end you will need a cassette hub

alright thanks for the help man

To run that 13 T freewheel i think you will need a flip/flop hub.

When you take riding in its most basic form, we are all the same, out there for the fun of it, the challenge of progression, and the personal accountability we have for the results we get. There are no teams to let down, no coaches to scream about a missed pedal, and no obstacles that cannot be overcome.

It would pedal crazy fast with a small sprocket and a large rear gear.
