We don't know. Nobody owns a 2010 Eastern. But everyone thinks it's one of the best completes they're putting out next year.

FTW!

they are out now, and even though no one has them, check out the specks on it. most of the parts are after market parts! looks pretty legit to me

well... considering i own most of the aftermarket parts on that bike, its gonna be a pretty legit bike. the stem, bars, forks, and back wheel are more than enough reason to buy that bike.

yeah... because you wont ever be able to ride it at the weight its at now...

the high pressure is only like 22ozs. its the lightest 2.3 non folding on the market if i'm not mistaken, and wider tires are ALWAYS better

true true. but what i dont get it how this bike has all these really light aftermarket parts, but its still 22 pounds.
( im not complaining, this bike is one of the best completes out there)

but like, over time what parts on the bike should be changed? to make it even lighter

It's 22 lbs. Don't worry so much about weight. That's super light. Especially for a complete that is like 600-700 bucks. Shit my 1200+ dollar custom is just under 27 with 2 pegs.

i just got my eastern boss and its fuckin sick i cant wait to get to the park...idk bout the old eastern bikes but idk y people say the new ones suck because they wouldnt jus keep making the bikes with the same problems.... most of them are REDESIGNED for one thing which prolly means they fixed the problems...and they prolly havent even rode the new ones anyways if they say shit bout it...just saying...and im not saying there better then any other bikes i like a lot of other bikes too but i jus stuck with eastern...i think there good bikes and i heard the 2011 are going to be even better

How is 22lbs even considered heavy?

You can have a lot of light parts, but when you factor in all the ounces, and fractions of ounces, it all adds up. Figure like 5 lbs for both wheels, 4-5 for the frame, 2ish for the crank, 2 for the bars, 2 for the fork, and right there you are at about 15-16. Now add a chain 1 lb or so, pedals, 2 lbs for arguments sake, tires and tubes 3lbs for argument, throw in a headset, bearings and grips 2lbs and right there you are at about 23 lbs. Add grips 1/2 lb maybe, and you are around 23.5. None of this is exact or accurate, but simply for pointing out that it all adds up fast. I am certain the frame is under 5lbs, and some of the parts are lighter than I guessed, but it is all there.

You won't get more than about 3lbs off this bike TOPS, with new wheels, forks, bars, cranks, tires, chain, and brakeless.

When you take riding in its most basic form, we are all the same.
