Dude I ride that gearing and its awesome. Its a little easier to pedal but not much and you get up to speed quicker without really losing your top speed.

no top speed
nothing usless ratio
not as bad as 36 16

fakies are the worst part about it..i got a new poverty and it only came in 10 and its so eas to pedal that every time im riding fakie my bike always flies out from under neath me..but i ride a 24- 10..now tell me that isnt wierd

nah. Peddling fast and going nowhere sux. 10/27 leaves me to where I can go to fast but don't need much space to get up to speed. Works great. 9/25 is probably just as good but my frame's chain stays "bridge" is welded flush with the bottom of the BB so the bottom side of the chain tends to hit and even damage the bottom of the chain stay tube.

ter i ride that gearing and i also ride at some race tracks and camn still jump all these speed jumps with that gearing i love it its hella awsome and still fast as hell
