1. 180
2. at about a little past 180 drop the back end and lean back apply pedal pressure.
keep looking and vuala you got it!

or just suck it up and do a 3.

Best advice... Don't do them. Learn to 3 the right way.

yeah what he said if you learn them you train your back end to drop down and it becomes impossible to learn flat threes

trails are not skateparks, they exist solely from the work and dedication of local riders. so next time you start complaining about not having local trails to ride, you only need look at yourself.

I started with taps and now I can 3, so I think it's preference.

Dont do them, it will be a horrible habit in the future. Once you get 200-270 suck up your back end. Me and ferthebirdz are having the same problems right now...

def!.. i never really understood the keep looking behind you thing until i had my 180s tucked and dialed.. today i was just like ehh lets start work on threes.. and other then not sucking up the back end at 270 i still had my head looking behind me so i was pretty stoked on that.. im super happy with myself when i do something progression wise even to the smallest extent..because i know theres tomo.. and tomo ill be just that much more closer to having threes on lock.. it blows my mind the stages and steps i went through to get my 180s on lockdown... im so glad i did... i never thought id be able to tuck a stem height 180..

You can stem height 180? Damn bro! I just do freecoaster tricks mainly, so I never really cared on the height of my 180s. But 360s are pissin me off, and I broke my masterlink earlier in the week.

yah ive been dialing 180s for like the last 2 months or so..just trying to get them high and tucked and smooth..i just started halfcabbing out like a week ago.. super fun..i want threes now baddddd..the dude i ride with hucks enormous threes off of shit.. and they just look like they feel so niceeee.. i remember when i first started hucking 180s off of shit and landing and rolling out clean how nice they felt.. threes must feel so sweet!.. i have so many good setups around mee too that would be perfect for a sweet three!..

BAM i got like three new things im working on that i never even thought of doing.. main thing is being comfortable on ur bike i think..
