Also there's no sprocket bolt but the stock cranks have that extension sticking out so it still goes in the sprocket hole but it moves freely

NEW Bike check
That InstaGram ting - @EddiMundo
Haha I'm not, my bikes are usually poorly painted, my chains rusty, frames dented, blood on the frame, frame has rust, grips are ripping, no bar ends. But I just built my bike so it's not too bad but some of my older ones were pretty bad and rigged haha especially last year i had two different pedals and crank arms and whatnot. doesnt matter too much to me how they look as long its mostly painted one color and solid.

How have you not killed yourself a million times riding it like that? I'm far from anal about my bike, it stays outside, I rarely wipe it down, and I only grease it if it sounds like a horror movie, but I do make sure it's tight and SAFE to ride.
Your bike, do what you want, but damn homie!

Dude 33/9 must SUUCK, i have a 23t or 25t fit sprocket kicking around if you want it.
Im not really anal about my bike the only thing i really worry about is making sure all the bolts are tight other then that i dont really care

Last bike i didnt maintain was my old hoffman, untrue front and back, bent fsa 22mm cranks, cracked bb so it moved slightly, broken headset cup, bent bars. I loved it.
Sprocket isnt stock btw been looking for one, its a dk iron cross light.
I've gotten a bit lazy lately with the maintenance side of things but I'm usually pretty anal bout my ride, its gotta be setup the way I like it and the parts have gotta be legit, I usually check the welds once a month or after big slams too, my bikes have to be dialled and looking good, I've spent a fair bit of cash building a couple of custom bikes and I'd be a dick not to look after them.

If it rolls it's fine by my standards !
LOL As long as my bike is decently dialed I'm happy with it , there are people who want their bike so dialed and it's like you have 1 sesh and you fuck it up
I'm anal about keeping my handlebars clean and free from moisture and sweat.
They're animal big fours. I <3 them soo much.. i might even take them off to avoid damaging them and use my back up bars.
put it back on for bike checks.
I work hard for money to buy high quality parts so I want my bike to look and feel as great as possible. But it's a bike, it's made to be scratched and it's made to get dirty. It's made to be ridden.
as long as the parts are in decent condition, trustworthy, and not on the verge of breaking down then I'm not too picky. I'm more anal about how things are set up like handlebar position, having a tight chain and having the back wheel as far forward in the dropouts as possible. but once the bike is put together i won't care if it gets dents and scratches from riding and shoving it in the car for road trips. but yeh, whatever floats ya boat, ghetto bikes have their charms too lol
My bike's always dialed usually, there was a time when I had been riding almost a year & my bike sounded like complete shit though.. grips were really worn down, headset didn't spin very well, front wheel sounded like it was going to explode at any moment since it was unsealed and not maintained at all. The crackling sound that thing made was terrible.. Cranks wobbled and pedaling them made squeaky noises, and my back wheel was really bent since I didn't know about wheels needing to be trued yet.
It was really shitty haha but it was my pride & joy at the time.. I rarely let my bike get really bad. I have 2 broken spokes in the rear wheel currently but that's about as undialed as mine gets for awhile.
Your chain is going to snap and it will hurt. Has probably happened before but 15years from now your really going to regret smashing your kneecaps so many times. Heed my warning
I like my wheels decently true and if i can keep something from moving back and forth or creaking, i do. That's about it.
Had my frame for like a year its poorly painted if i had to show you it lol...you would be like what the hell its like blue, white, black, yellow, raw only thing i get anal about is my rims and bars and my bars ive bent them and had them along with the frame for a year same with my cranks its all stock verde parts only aftermarkets are my cinema front rim,my shadow conspiracy corvus back rim and my seat and my subrosa forks lol also in the process of bending my bars back straight...i broke a hammer and the head went flying up and i was just like wtf lol
Don't tell me how to live my life!
I failed the life test...
I have OCD so the bike almost ALWAYS needs to be dialed. If a headset or BB creaks, I'll let it go for a whole entire week tops if it isn't that bad. Otherwise, the chain is the only thing I'll leave kinda alone, unless it creaks pedaling, then I re-grease the rollers with a q-tip. And scratches are usually a big deal to me. I started running a color frame, and Sharpie-ing scratches makes it stand out so I just let it kinda chip down to the raw. Otherwise, with me only running black frames, I'd always have a black Sharpie somewhere so I could touch up all the little nicks and crannies.
I do so many 180's and sketchy 3's so my wheels are never straight but other then untrue wheels my bike is always decent
I'm a bit like this, my bikes not so bad at the moment, but still I have 4 different pegs, 3 of which I was given for free and the other I found in my shed. My cranks are sort of custom haha, as in it's got a different spindle to the ones that originally came with the arms and I'm using some random car bolts for them. Most of my friends spend ages tightening their chain but to me it doesn't matter as long as the cranks can still go round and it'snot hitting the frame or coming off. Previously I have run a rewelded stock frame for nearly a year, I had cranks that were rewelded 3 times until February (they cracked in 3 different places), I run tyres until I can't without getting flats every single session and I usually run grips till they have holes in them.
I'm not anal but i do have a few specifics. Cranks must be lined up correctly(48s), bars at the right angle and wheels true enough that they dont rub. Other than that I don't really care.
I'm on the vital legit list!
I am sort of anal. I like it to be pretty clean, i like my brakes to stop me well, my pedals have to be decently grippy or i start slipping, it cant creak, whine, squeak, grind, or make any sounds it isnt supposed to make. Oh and if things pop. I like it to be smooth. I hate when my tires have too much pressure, or if my chain is too loose or too tight, my bars have to be just right. haha The only thing im not super anal about is my grips. My latest one has a big hole and idc really. haha Or if my tires tread is towards the end of its life.
