Okay so my nephew's birthday is coming up and I'm looking to get him a complete. Basically going to drag him around all summer.

Budget: $550 and under.

Height: 6'3
Weight: 140
Riding Level: Beginner

60%Street. 30%Dirt. 10%Park.

Looking at:

2013 United KL40 Expert- Trans Red/Tan
Reasons:
-13.75" Chainstay should be comfortable enough for dirt.
-Colorway is awesome

Any other suggestions?

@Brokenbmx: That's good to know because I haven't seen much talk about them since I've been to this website.

@BmxNinja101: I looked at the Kink line up and liked the 2013 Kink Whip but I don't know if the geometry would fit his body. Do you think a 20.5" Toptube is too short for someone his height?

From the Subrosa line I was looking at the 2013 Subrosa Arum XL.

I would say 20.5" is too small for someone over 6 foot. Stick with 21's.

What I do hate is the fact that every person in BMX hops on this bandwagon of three pegs, and beanies, and weed, and hop-over grinds… It’s just sad that the pros who influence kids are more worried about looking cool than the kids themselves! United makes the best complete,I had a Rn1 FOREVER and it held up to everything a beginner can think of trying. Get it 100%

United is a popular brand with an amazing team which includes Nathan Williams,Corey Martinez,and Christian Rigal.All of them are top notch riders.

There products are high quality and aren't made cheap. You can expect it to last quit a bit for a stock bike. As for aftermarket parts,they have the basics ; tires,pedals,grips,etc as you move up to top end completes. If your looking for the most amount of custom parts,this isn't your bike,but since your nephew is a beginner he won't need them. I kind of meant input on the Specialized P.20 I don't get what it says about the rear hub. Is it a freecoaster or cassette hub?

cant see any particular bad parts on it, just kind of the bmx standered for all the parts. Dont know why the fuck they put the geo in mm though, who the fuck does geo in mm? and its a cassette
