Thanks. They are the two I'm drawn to, I know GT have a bad rep, but the specs are kind of fly. The 24seven looks the business though and is hella light....

Thanks fopr your help.

Any specific reason? How does it compare to the verde? The dude in the shop told me the 24seven was more a dirt bike......I want to use it for street, mainly.

I have a verde theory 08 and it is very nice so far. I have only had it for like 3 months but nothing has been broken, dented or chipped for me. I would suggest it cuz its cheaper and on the lighter side

i actually just posted this in another thread, just my two cents i wouldnt buy anything without a full 4130 frame.. heres my other post tho

well.. i actually just did the homework for my friend but he only wanted to spend 350 dollars, anyway this is what i came up with, on a parts basis, disregarding the popularity contest..

2Hip Soul 349.99
- Full 4130 Frame
- Sealed 14mm Cassette
- Pivotal Seat/post
- Sealed Bottom Bracket

DK Helio 349.99
- Full 4130 Frame
- Sealed Bottom Bracket

Black Eye Pistola 339.99
- Full 4130 Frame
- Sealed 3Pc. Bottom Bracket
- 9T Driver
- Pivotal Seat/post

DK Cleveland 339.99
- Full 4130 Frame w/ Gyro Tabs

Stolen Wrap 329.99
- Full 4130 Frame w/ Gyro Tabs
- Sealed Hubs
- 14mm Cassette

DK Six Pack 319.99
- Full 4130 Frame

..... this is a list mainly based on my opinion and experience, IMO you should get a bike with a solid frame and for me thats always meant no hi tensile steel and reasonably up to date features and then change the parts out as you see fit, there were always two big financial humps for me to get over when i was younger and i had to save forever for parts.. the 400 dollars for a good frame and the 250-300 dollars for a good back wheel.. everything else is cheap enough to buy here and there... hope i helped

dirtjumper202 - dibbed FC hub in his thread and contacted for paypal information, told me it was pending (even though it wasn't marked, which is kind of fucked up in itself), couple days go by and he decides to proceed, i pay immediately with paypal. payment is sent. paypal holds the payment for "random security verification." meanwhile i sell my nankai FC wheel set, buy a new front hub to match the profile/nankai FC rear that i bought, buy rims and spokes, everything except nipples. paypal releases the funds. and this kid refunds me and says the first guy paid at the same time my funds were released to him and he sent the wheel to the first guy? wtf? now I'm out the wheel set i sold and not going to find another profile/nankai hub. when was the last time you saw a profile-shelled nankai technolite FC for sale (besides the one that was sold to someone else after i bought it). there is an obvious problem if you have to refund a buyer to sell an item to someone else. its just bad business. dirt jumper obviously has no respect for his buyers. he sold the wheel to the other guy because he was willing to buy the whole wheel and i had only already paid for the hub (which was completely fine according to his initial sale terms) but he chose to look out for himself rather than do the right thing.

Sprocket: 33T Disc
Chain: KMC 1/8"
Brake Lever: Tektro
Brakes: Tektro U-Brake
Detangler: N/A
Pegs: 1 pair

if you read what you wrote..... this frame is not full chrome moly.. so that means about half of it is hi-tensile steel... only the main tubes are chrome moly which i think is seat tube and top tube.

kink apex is the most dialed complete out there. badger bars, ody forks. pivotal, light cause im assuming most of the people that buy completes arent used to the muscels (spelling sorry) that are used and would help alot with a lighter bike. if you can piece together the money, it is the best complete you can buy.
