Freewheel: threads onto a normal hub with threads.
Cassette: uses a interchangable driver to propel the bike
Driver: piece that locks into a cassette hub
Freecoaster: Same thing as a cassette, but allows you to coast backwards without backpedaling.
REFS: trickbiker169, Dah Man, letstartariot, Hofmann Scarab

freewheel = back sprocket
cassette = type of freewheel that goes into the hub, not onto.
freecoaster = type of freewheel that you don't need to pedal when rolling backwards.
driver = anything that your chain hooks up to on/in back hub.
hope that's dumbed down enough
