5/14/2008 4:26 AM a big bolt, a big nut, and a few washers.
a couple of crescent wrenches and some grease also helps... watch this: http://theshadowconspiracy.com/...nalvideo/cranks.html my old bike weighed 34 lbs. - my new bike weighs around 21 lbs. - holy shit! |

a big bolt, a big nut, and a few washers.
yeah that's the best way to do it
get an unsealed 14mm axle, 2 nuts and some big washers, almost like the diameter of the bearings, put some grease on the bb shell and make sure the bearings are going in even and you're good to go |

5/14/2008 5:18 AM A big socket works great. That way you hit only the OUTSIDE race of the bearing, minimizing any chance to damage the bearings themselves. Obviously, a press or makeshift press is the best.
