so i was ridin my bike home and there were like 4 cop cars and they told me i have to have a light on my bike or i cant ride it since its dark. they said to wwalk it all the way home, like 2 miles.
i went like 150 feet then kept ridin, fuck that.
they tell me to put a light on all the time.
can i actually get in trouble for not havin a damn light?

Yes.I don't know about your state,but in Washington you have to have a white light in the front and a red one in the rear after dusk.

get one of the glow in the dark stolen completes lol then they cant make you put lights on cause you could see better with glow in the dark than a reflecter

just get some odyssey twisted pcs glow in the dark and grips won't work the will be covered by your hand and a seat if your standing up

nj does care, i get yelled at all the time for no lights, a bell or brakes or helmet. my township doesnt give tickets cause they figure wed just be assholes and give fake names.

do something to make yourself visible so you dont get hit by a car and die

this may sound stupid but riding torwards oncoming traffic is a better way to ride at night, this way you can see the car and they can see the front of you since the lights shine directly at you. you need to be aware and on the shoulder of course though.

yea you can get a fine. my city doesnt have any bikers so police dont worry but my town req. lights after dark and brakes. neither of which i have,
