i have a demolition front hub (bulimia) and a shadow rant v2 cassette and ijust put to pegs on but dont want to ride due to no hub guards....no hub guard will fit my rear i tried the shadow and it just wont go in to the frame with the wheel then i tried the fbm and it does the same thing.. i think its the frame so should i just ride hubguard less and call it a day....xmas is coming up anyways ima get 2 new wheels and make them my pegless wheels so wut u think?
Hub guards aren't a necessity. I've never rode them in my life and never broken a spoke or fucked up a hub. Just get good at grinding and you'll never need them.
They're really just a precautionary measure for heavy street riding.
dude half the time the back hub guard isnt gunna fit perfectly into the frame. i used to have the united and it didnt fit between my wheel and my sunday ian but when i would put it on i just pulled the dropouts alittle and it went in and i did that for the entire time i had my sunday and it never broke or cracked from it so just do that
dude dont listen ive never ridden a hubgaurd and as far as i know i grind the most on vital if your learning grinds then ya i say get a hub gaurd but if you can grind fuk it

For the back, I have the Rant V2 hub also, and I have the Mutiny hub guard. For the front, my friend has the Demolition Bulimia and I sold him my Shadow Rant front hub guard and it fit perfectly. Your Shadow hub guard should fit on you cassette, just take out the cones.
i dont care im just gonna grind with no hub guard i dont care if something gets broke i'll replace it and if i dont have the money to do it then i'll just wait until i do
Mine didn't even come close to fitting, had to wedge my frame open a bit. It's an Eastern, it was pretty scary doing it ha. But I'm so glad I did, I don't even brake half as many spokes now.
