So. Woke up this morning, got my son dressed, we ate breakfast, watched some toons, etc. I went over my new build (literally just got it done last night 2/21/12) to make sure everything tight. Found some (ok quite a few) loose spokes on my back wheel, so naturally I flipped the biotch over and went to to work. Got it nice and tight, spinning super straight & smooth. Awesome! Right?! WRONG.
My sons Nannie & Popup ask to take him for a while.. Hmm not a problem I'll take my bike out. Sweet!
So they come and pick him up, I get my hugs & kisses, tell him ill see him later and so on. I go inside to get a drink, grab my gloves, hoodie & hat.. Walk back outside and bam it's snowing. Seriously?! Snow. Right now? Come on! It would be my luck that I'd finally get the bike rideable and the day I'm gonna take it out it starts to snow. Go figure.
It had to be cause I went to grab my gloves isn't it. That's what set of the flurry of white little flakes of frozen hell.
So now I'm cleaning my already super clean bike, trying to find the perfect lighting for my bike check pics, and staring out the window every 2 minutes to see if it stopped or is slowing down. This is a time I wish I could fit my bike in the car and just take a drive to my local indoor park (not the greatest if you prefer street but it gets you riding at times like this).
I know its probably stupid to be complaining about this when some people probably have a bigger issue than I. But. To me.. It's a big deal.
For all the people out riding. Feel free not to rub it in. Thanks.
