My 1st BMX was a Predator, the chrome and black one. Once I killed that I had and endless number of all different bikes. Too bad I didn't have a camera then....but then again I was 12.

96 Huffy Intense. i worked around my town doing lawn work for different people for 5 dollars a day. yea no shit.. i did it for like 10 days to save half the bike was 100 at kmart, and my dad let me barrow the other 50 and i had to continue my landscaping slavery to pay him off.. about 2 months before that my mom bought me a bmx plus magazine.. thats what really got me hooked.. i read it over and over and over again.. i still have it.

ban list - SHITTY SELLER ALERT, PLEASE READ
dirtjumper202 - dibbed FC hub in his thread and contacted for paypal information, told me it was pending (even though it wasn't marked, which is kind of fucked up in itself), couple days go by and he decides to proceed, i pay immediately with paypal. payment is sent. paypal holds the payment for "random security verification." meanwhile i sell my nankai FC wheel set, buy a new front hub to match the profile/nankai FC rear that i bought, buy rims and spokes, everything except nipples. paypal releases the funds. and this kid refunds me and says the first guy paid at the same time my funds were released to him and he sent the wheel to the first guy? wtf? now I'm out the wheel set i sold and not going to find another profile/nankai hub. when was the last time you saw a profile-shelled nankai technolite FC for sale (besides the one that was sold to someone else after i bought it). there is an obvious problem if you have to refund a buyer to sell an item to someone else. its just bad business. dirt jumper obviously has no respect for his buyers. he sold the wheel to the other guy because he was willing to buy the whole wheel and i had only already paid for the hub (which was completely fine according to his initial sale terms) but he chose to look out for himself rather than do the right thing.

My first bmx was a Diamondback Viper and that was 1997. I can't remember for sure but I think it was blue. I trashed it pretty quick so I got an S&M butler frame in blue w/forks for $50 (an offer Dan's used to do, I'm not sure if they still do) and Alex triple wall wheel set w/Poverty hubs that Dan's used to sell for $149, front and back wheel. They were heavy, probably around 4-5 pounds just in the wheels but they were cheap and no one gave a shit about weight. We all loved the big thick 44t sprockets also with 3 pc. profile cranks(yes the ones that still are awesome). Man...back in the day! I know it was only 10 years ago but it feels like forever ago!

Mine was a " Tide laundry detergent "bike won from a grocery store when I was 8, learned how to ride trails somewhat on that shit machine, but it did cement my love for BMX.
