vintagebmx.com Check that.

I'm only 19, but i've raced for years and I'm totally into oldskool stuff. by the way.... our shop is getting a limited edition quadangle looptail frame....mmmmm looptail. its gunna be sick.

EDIT: sorry I made a mistake, I believe it will be a ripper, not a quad.

Some of my best memories riding were when I had a 4' wide, 6' tall quarter in my parent's yard back in '86. There weren't too many of them around back then. Cars used to stop on the side of the road and watch us ride that thing. Big fun.

My friend just built up a 80's Supergoose. My first "real" bike was a Cycle Pro...still have it (Sort-of, the frame is an A-Pro now).

It's cool to see some of the older companies bring back some vintage look stuff. SE has some frames and jerseys, Redline has done anniversary stuff, and Haro has a complete that changes each year. I just sold my Haro Sport 88.

Old school is cool Cool

Ahh, yes. My first freestyle bike was a Dyno Compe. I loved that bike. It had a framestand, two pegs up front, everything! 30-somethin' pounds. Tight.

Unfortunately, it was stolen from the swimmin' pool. OH, THE HUMANITY!!!

Memories...my first real bike was an 85 (Maybe 84?) Haro Sport. White with white peregrine mags. I've got a few pics on my profile from the early 90s.

Cheers,
Roland

hah! this is funny thinking about this, but...

my freestyle/street bike was a:

GT Pro Freestyle Tour-Team Model

my racing bike was a:

MOTOBECANE (this bitch was mad light)

I feel like the majority of bikes got heavier/thicker but alot stronger in general.

I cracked my Motobecane frame in half one race, but I don't think that will happen to my new FIT FLOW frame.

I hope not...

I have to try to dig up some old pictures...

Hope this finds all of you well..

pase,

j
