Meeting Monday, November 9.
Albany Bike Park Taskforce has been working on building a new bike park in Albany for the past year.
A side step to that is getting bikes allowed NOW in the Albany Skate Park. Parks and Recreation Department, Albany Police Department and the Parks and Rec Commission are on board. We're all going before the City Council Monday night at 7:15 to request them to change the ordinance and allow bikes in the skate park (legally), effective immediately.
If you can, please come and support us. The Taskforce is meeting at 6pm in the Park and Rec office at City Hall for pizza, soda and planning before going to the meeting at 7:15.
