hey guys,
there are mainly trails to ride in northern virginia except for the occasional skatepark. and to get some good street spots you need to go into d.c. whats your favorite spot or park? one of my faveorites is wakefield skatepark. the occasional street spot i can find is what i mainly ride.

I live in VA Beach but I just hit up Arlington Skatepark during the week and had the whole place to my self. it was real windy but fun. Oldschoolsk8park is pretty good too. Both of those are in or near your area. Let's get awesome!

I live real close to wakefield but they make you wear safety gear and you have to pay every time, or buy a membership. Have you been to the 95's? Their just a trail spot, but its right up the street from Braddock road. Right of 495 at the 236 west exit. If your headed for D.C. and as you know parking sucks just stop in Alexandria because on Duke street there is a little park. No bikes are aloud but there is usually somebody on a bike having fun. Its a little crammed so I hope you have low gearing. The street off of the park is called Wheeler Ave. and it has some nice little banks behind the warehouses. It's just a little spot to check out if you are in the neighborhood. Plus you can park somewhere in the area down towards Old Town Alex. and just ride into D.C. on your bike. But use caution!!

I have also been in one really nice parking garage that had some nice island curbs for manuals and a wall ride spot. I think it was off of King st. but you can get your self in trouble here in Northern VA So be real careful, and prepared to loose your bike, and pay a hefty fine!

Come to our jam on July 26th. It's being held at the Matt Thorne Estate in Charlottesville, which is a huge back yard park with a nice combo of ramps and dirt jumps.. Its going to be huge!

well im in fl right now. But normally we ride everydaythere and at JMU at night. and downtown just a bit. Go to Shenandoah Bicycle Company in down town next to dave's taverna. They'll hook u up. The guy who owns it designed the park. Me and Adrian go there a lot. I get back the 31st so I'll be riding the 1st or 2nd of august. Come to westover.

yeah about a month ago i called Shenandoah Bicycle Company to see what kind of bikes they sell but i think i'll stick with my bike for now and buy parts until my frame breaks or i save up enough.
what part of jmu do you ride? ive been scoping out places to ride while i walk to the parking lot before and after work.

Which parking lot? And we ride everything. You can feeble most ledges you just have to have speed cause of the stoppers. The quad is fun for hopping up onto the ledges.
Yeah I'm just buying parts for my bike too until my frame brakes. Although I really like the Mikey aitken frame.. The convocation center has a wallrides everywhere. All JMU's rails are pretty low, but i dont do rails yet.

the parking lot between cantrell and bluestone next to the tennis courts.its about an eight minute walk from that parking lot to the building i work at. pretty much sucks. i meant to go by and pick my bike up this weekend while i was around Richmond but didn't get a chance.. maybe this weekend i can grab it.
does shenandoah bike sell parts? or should i just buy parts off dans comp? i need some new handle bars but i'm trying to find the right pair first. i'm small and not trying to fly an elephant or anything.
