Yeah i live about a mile or two from the trails here. I dont personally ride them but some of the riders around here do.

401's closed and the land owners will prosocute if you get caught tresspassing, their all beat up anyway dont bother with them

Yo man, Swannanoa trails are on lock down. The land has been sold and the new owner is a card carrying member of the NRA. Fuquay trails are coming along well plus there's a ride almost every weekend
trails are not skateparks, they exist solely from the work and dedication of local riders. so next time you start complaining about not having local trails to ride, you only need look at yourself.

R.I.P. Swananoa/Asheville trails/dirt jumps. You will be missed. Now we need to get bikes allowed in Food Lion Skatepark because Zero Gravity quit doing bike night. You could ride park at No Name Skatepark in Greenville SC. Just watch out for about 500 skate rats. Posting trails on the internet is like showing everybody pictures of your girlfriend naked. Not smart. People give directions publicly, and blow somebody's spot. NOT COOL.
Too many people = too many problems. PM (private message) somebody if anything. Trails are low key. Posting in a public forum isn't. If anything it's a great way to have the locals beat your ass/BFL (banned for life). Not smart.
Have some respect for the people who make what they ride.

Trail builders don't appreciate when their spot is put on
blast in a public forum. It's a great way to get banned from a spot.

It's cool man, no sweat. Mistakes happen. Just understand that there are a handful of people that dedicate a large portion of their lives to building and maintaing trails, so naturally those who are invested will tend to get a little defensive when something potentially threatens the well being of a spot that requires a ton of passion and dedication to build and maintain. Don't be scared to come out and ride homie, just be chill and respectful and everyone will be totally down.
Were not trying to scare anyone away, just trying to keep our spots alive so we have the opportunity to share and enjoy it with the community. After Swannanoa was plowed, a handful of us came to the conclusion that the exposure the spot received as a result of being accessible via the internet was the main contributing factor in the place getting leveled, and none of us want to see that happen again.
Now that there are new spots popping up in the area, we are trying everything in our power to keep them low key and ensure that trails remain an integral part of the Western North Carolina scene.
Don't be scared to send a private message and see what's up. We are always stoked to have new people to ride with. Our scene is too small to have bad vibes...

I'm from Havelock and there are no trails there. It's 30 minutes from the beach and pretty sandy. But Greenville is an hour away.
