Cooke & Wessel Re-Do the Winkelmann Van Flip

On August 11th. Allan Cooke and Nate Wessel teamed up to pull off another stunt for the Discovery Channel’s “Stunt Junkies” TV show. This time Allan recreated Colin Winkelmann’s backflip over a moving van/ramp combo as a tribute to Colin’s earlier attempt. Nate Wessel had been a major part of Colin’s original attempt, and he was instrumental in getting everything wired to make this happen. Both Mike Laird and Jeremy Fanberg were also on hand in Valencia, CA, to help Nate build the ramp, and they used radar equipment to make sure they could precisely measure the speed (Wessel was the one behind the wheel of the van).
