I ride breakless because then I can't back out. I guess for someone with this much talent, that may not be the case. But I didn't choose to ride breakless because some one else rode breakless before I came along.

you can be just as smooth with brakes as without. It's just what you like. People switch between brakes and brakeless all the time. It's just what you feel like riding. Brakes can get old. Maybe that's why he took them off. It's got nothing to do with trends.
