Dirt Jumpers vs. Racers?

Recently a few top dirt jumpers got on the gate for some BMX racing action. After seeing video of the race, a BMX track operator in Illinois is proposing a Dirt Jumper vs. Racers grudge match. This could be funny. Here is the email the track operator sent in. Any takers?

My name is Chuck Groh and I am the new Track Operator at The Hill BMX race track in Elgin, Illinois. With seeing  the videos of dirt jumpings biggest stars doing a race, I would like to get a call out to any of Illinois bigger name or anyone else interested and we could host a grudge race.

We could do this at anytime during the season, any rider interested has to:
 
1. Signup for a one day membership, which is $12.00 to race.
2. Have brakes
3. Helmet - open or full face
4. Long sleeve shirt
5. Pants

    The riders would be racing in the Novice Class, and if they want then they could sign up for a open class the it would have Inter. and Expert races.

    I dont see the point of this. Dirt jumpers may have the skill to ride a track, but they will not be able to compete with experts on a bmx track. Well maybe some, but not the serious ones that train hard and do sprints and squats. I say have a no chain race! That would be alot better

    Pro dirt jumpers riding novice,what a Joke!Ryan lives near me ,has a track beside the skate he grew up riding,Cos of his skill he should have rode expert!
