First Look: New Las Vegas Skatepark

After years of rumors and what seemed like false hope, the Hollywood skatepark in Las Vegas, Nevada, is finally becoming a reality. Construction hasn't been going on long and there is definitely a large amount of time before it’s complete, but progress is being made. So far the park includes a pretty big street-inspired section with stairs, ledges, and rails, a deep bowl, and, a Vegas first—a full-pipe. There is no official word yet if BMX bikes are going to be allowed, but seeing as how the other 15+ parks in the city are all BMX-friendly, it seems that this one will be no different. The Hollywood Skatepark is located on South Hollywood Boulevard just off of Charleston.—Kyle Carlson
