James Foster Injury Update
As you may remember, around a week ago we reported that James Foster was injured jumping over a house in Germany for a television show. I spoke with James this morning and have a brief update on his condition:
After being stuck in a Germany hospital all alone for a week, James finally made it back to the sates. He was flown home first class because he had to keep his leg elevated and is now back home in Greenville, NC. His ankle is shattered and he also cracked a bone in his leg.
The doctors in Germany told James he probably won't even be walking for another eight weeks, so no telling when he'll be back on his bike. He's missing the final stop of the Dew Tour, which he is currently sitting in the top five for dirt in. Also, he recently bought this street bike and hasn't even got to ride it yet:

I saw him on television. Than they took another guy for jumping it. But the other guy cleared the housjump either.

thats horrible. i broke my femur recently and theres a TI rod in my leg. won't be riding for at least another 5 weeks. get better soon james!

shitluck man,i shatterd my ankle 2 years ago n got 2 plates n 13 screws.took 3 months to be riding properly again but still hurts on big drops.make sure you do your physio and dont forget to 420 to pass the time

That jump was insane! Get better James...hope the recovery isn't too boring/long man. Too many injuries in the world lately, damn....

I broke my ankle 2 1/2 months ago and still cannot ride, that looks way worse. I feel your pain, just probably not as much.
