standard sux,, they dont take care of ther riders .. i kno jon an he was tired of havein to wait 8757555 years to get parts .. he had to buy other companies parts .. u kno a frame sux wen the head tube tears rite off an the forx of a different company dint bend first ....weak ass large diameter thin tubbed weakness .. junk junk junk rick sux hes bike shop an shoe sales keep standard alive
Standard's parts and frames are definitely not stuck in the 90's for the most part Standard stays off the radar by way of choice, Rick has always had a more grass roots approach by starting off newer younger riders and helping them out until they move onto bigger and better things (better as in more money and more opportunities).
You can talk about what you want but im sure this is on good terms and will in no way hurt either parties. Remember when no one knew who taj and joe were until they joined standard? A lot of the greats of bmx have been flowed or sponsored by Standard at one time to start off their career and this instance is no different. Good luck John and Trent.
I agree Rogers can do better but Standard dont suck. They're REALLY big in the race end of BMX right now. Go to any national, state, or even the worlds and you will see a shit ton of Standard bikes and a lot of Pros riding for them. Maybe they've just lost touch with freestyle, but that dont meen they suck
