Josh Betley Speaks On Leaving Sunday

Josh Betley recently left Sunday and sent over this message to let everyone know what's up:

"Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that I've decided to leave Sunday. Sunday is a great company and an amazing crew of dudes, and it was awesome to be a part of it for a short time. We had some good times and it's no secret that they make some of the best and most innovative products in BMX. I'm really excited to see the new video project that the crew is currently working on; it's going to be amazing.

However, at this point in my life I really don't feel like I should be riding for them. I'm pretty much always broke. I work all week at the bike shop to make just enough money to pay my bills and hopefully go on a few weekend trips every month or so. I'm definitely not complaining about my life situation, I just don't feel like I should be representing someone else when I'm working so hard to get by myself.

I'm actually living in Ohio all summer riding shows at an amusement park to make some extra cash for some trips when the west coast cools off. I should be back in Phoenix in August.

Thanks so much to everyone at Sunday for the good times! Best wishes to Jim C, everyone involved with Sunday, and everyone else that has fun riding bikes. Vote Obama!"
