For the second year in a row, Kevin Robinson walked away with the X Games Gold Medal for BMX Big Air. Kevin was going huge all night, and highlights included an 18-foot flair. Steve McCann proved he’s got vert and jumping skills as he blasted 50-foot-flip-whips and huge double-whips on the quarter. Anthony Napolitan fired a perfect double-tailwhip-flip, and Morgan Wade blasted to the moon with 70-foot superman-seatgrabs and the smoothest high airs of the comp. Mat Hoffman rode the event brakeless and wound up taking a few harsh slams; once to flat and once he landed on the deck!
