Vital BMX just got this news from UK photographer Chris Woodage:
"Yesterday at Southsea Mark Webb bailed a huge frontflip and landed on his ass from a great height. The hospital nearly didn't x-ray his back, concentrating mainly on his neck, but with Webby's insistence they finally took a look at his back. Now he's been told he has a broken vertebrae (L1) and is just waiting news of a possible surgery. He's in good spirits though and is fully mobile but has been told to keep still. (If thats at all possible for Mark!!)"
