Mike Spinner Off Mirraco
Big news for Mike Spinner this year—no more Mirraco. We hit him up with a quick interview to see what's going on.
You just had some sponsorship changes. What’s up?
Yeah, I’m no longer riding for Mirraco. That’s really the only change. Albe’s has been a huge sponsor for me since day one, and now I get to choose from any frame they have. I feel like a kid in a candy store—there’s so much good stuff out there right now! No other changes at all. Still riding for Ballpark, Nike 6.0, Monster, Bell, Maxxis and Albe’s.
Are you bummed about Mirraco?
It was a shock, but things change. I had a great time on the team, but I’ve got some cool stuff in the works.
Are you going to be spending a lot of time in Greenville again this year?
I don’t know; it’s still pretty early in the year. I am planning to spend a lot of time at Woodward, that’s for sure. That place is the best.
You’ve been dropping some pretty big tricks over the past couple of years. Got anything in the works right now?
Ha, that’s funny. The last few years were pretty fun. There’s always stuff that you’re working on. I’ve got some ideas, so we’ll see.
You were on the road a lot last year. Is that the same plan this year?
Things do get pretty hectic during the Spring and Summer. Right now I’m getting ready for a Nike 6.0 trip to Europe, and there are some other trips in the works. Once the contest season starts, I’ll be on the road, but I’m not complaining at all. Travel, ride bikes, have fun—that’s the plan.

im kind of happy that hes not in mirraco anymore but he got sponsored by hyper bikes and they make racing bikes which kind of sucks for him i was hoping he would get sponsored by some one else like stolen or fit
but hes so sick in the nike 6.0 writing on the walls video.

ya thats real lame. i think he is probably one of the best riderz ever. i think guettler should have got kicked of he did real bad this year. but mirrco is so stupid and i think that spinner is way better off the fucking lame team

yea mirraco was not a very well made brand mirra pretty much took his haro bikes and put mirraco on them and i do agree that aus sales would drop but people should not buy a bike cuz of where the rider is from ?

people we all know that spinner is one of the best and just because mirraco dropped him dont mean anything. riders lose their sponsors all the time.he will make a good choice picking a new ride. oh he will

Why does he get a hard time off people? I'm not really into all the team stuff in the America, as in I dont know much about it. I watched that video when Big Daddy met Mirra, and Mirra was acting like a twat, so I'm sure it can sometimes be like a bad day or sumet like that for people to act the way they do? I don't know, to be honest I'm not really arsed, if he keeps riding like that I'm happy to watch

Good Mike Spinner sucks. I saw a video where they interviewed him and he was talking about the Quad-Whip and the arrogance he displayed was sickening! Maybe he'll end up on KHE with Dhers and the sould be team same trick and no style. Down with Dhers and spinner!

fuck mike spinner. he has no style at all. its just tailwhip after fucking tailwhip. have any of u seen the video that he rides street in. he fucking sucks at it. if he learned how to have style and not just big ugly looking tricks that half the time his foot comes off on then he would be good. good job mirra co. hopefully all his other sponsers follow
