The third installment of Red Bull’s Elevation dirt jumping BMX contest went down this weekend in Whistler, Canada. The weather through a couple of curve balls, but the event still went off. Every BMX dirt jumper considers Elevation to be the best event on the planet, so all of the big guns were in attendance. In the end, the battle for first was between Corey Bohan and Ryan Nyquist, and Nyquist came out on top by one-tenth of a point. In the Big Hit contest, James Foster dropped a few bombs including a triple-wailwhip and a truckdriver-to-downside-whip. James walked away with $5,000 for the truck-to-down-whip, which is not a bad pay day. And speaking of cash money, Nyquist walked away with $10,000 for the Elevation win!
