Ron Wilkerson's 43rd Birthday & New Cafe

2Hip owner and BMX legend Ron Wilkerson recently celebrated his 43rd birthday with a huge jam at Woodward West. The guest list included Simon Tabron, Mat Hoffman, and a whole bunch of other shredders. Click here to check out a video from the bash.

YES IT'S TRUE, WE'VE FINALLY GONE THRU THE RED-TAPE, FINISHED CONSTRUCTION,
AND WE'RE READY TO CELEBRATE!!!

Maybe you already know that myself and my wife are opening an acai café in downtown Santa Cruz, and maybe you already know that our space was designed by RICH HANSON (The most unique space in Santa Cruz" Andrew Slader- health inspector)

We've been working on this for ONE YEAR, and now we're pulling it off by the skin of our teeth!!!!!!!! (And the skin of the bank accounts!) ---so we are ready to CELEBRATE!!!

We're going to have dj's playing throughout the day, and performers including the illustrious Sharon Allen(and Sheri Austin -tent.), Nate Dennen + his crew, and others starting @ 11A (we open at 8A)...as well as having our UNIQUE, DELICIOUS, HEALTY, oneofakind recipies available for indulgence...
