The waiting is almost over - it's 3 weeks until the annual Simpel Session contest in Tallinn Estonia. If some of you still don't know where the heck it is then well, you should maybe just learn your geography. Because Simpel Session has grown to one of the most important winter meeting points of pro riders, bmx media peepz, team managers, distro owners, brand marketing lads and of course spectators.

The contest has reached it's 7th year and as far as things are going now it will be the best ever. The events venue will be again the almighty Saku Hall, hosting more than 12.000 spectators and offering fabulous surroundings for a BMX event that has grown to one of the best in Europe, maybe even in the world. Street contest will be down as well as Red Bull sponsored quarterpipe high air contest. Prize purse will contain royalties for alltogether 13500€. Those of you who were amazed by last years course, this time we're gonna have more room and we're gonna even improve it. The design is brand new and we're building the park entirely from scratch for the contest. This years winner course is designed by Nate Wessel whos also flying over for the build-up and event. We took several precautions to avoid the slippery floor problem, so there will be no ice skating trick this time. Everything that goes down will be caught with 8 cameras and played on large screen as well as live over the internet. That means riders can check their just performed stunts in slow motion and so can their friends back home in New Zealand. The contest itself means jam format, relaxed as always, no pressure, just fun times on a bike with friends. Even though we add some 'big contest elements' to the event, it's just to make it more fun and a perfect experience for everyone. Of course what can Simpel Session weekend mean without several fun afterparties. We're also putting on a bmx/skateboard film festival on three days in two nice cinemas of old town Tallinn.

The line-up is looking amazing with the likes of Alistair Whitton, Dave Mirra, Mike Spinner, Dave Osato, Chase Hawk, Sergio Layos, Corey Martinez, Sebastian Keep, Mike Laird, Joe Rich, Aaron Ross, Ben Hennon, Hannu Cools, Baz Keep, Benny Korthaus, Markus Wilke, Gary Young, Mike Miller, Dean Hearne, Nicolas Cambon, Tobias Wicke, Luke Marchant, Danny Hickerson, Chris Mahoney, Robin Fenlon, Markus Braumann and many others.

The contest is announced by infamous Zack Yankush alias Catfish. Judging team will consist of international experts Bart de Jong, Achim Kujawski, Andy Zeiss, Niels Thanild and Arto Heikkurinen.
