The Big Air/Mega Ramp contest coming up at the Summer X Games is right around the corner, and the riders are starting to get in the mode. Woodward East has constructed a Mega Ramp for the pros to get used to (only the jump, no quarterpipe) with a crazy airbag-type resi landing. There is another Mega Ramp in Southern California, and a BMX session went down there for the last couple of days (Kagy, Hoffman, Robinson, etc.).

Chad Kagy sent over a photo of the SoCal Mega Ramp plus a photo of the airbag-landing at Woodward East. According to Chad, “The ramp is nuts… You don't realize how intimidating this ramp actually is. It needs to be respected and it's even more intimidating at X Games ‘cause the roll in is steeper.” Watch for a Big Air video to hit Vital BMX soon.
