Street Teams for Chicago Dew Tour
The three teams that will be competing in the Street contest at the Chicago Dew Tour have been selected. The top three finishers from last Summer's X Games got to pick their teammates and their filmer, and here is how the teams look (Brian Kachinsky will be the alternate):
Team 1: Garrett Reynolds, Dennis Enarson, JJ Palmere (Glenn PP Milligan filming)
Team 2: Van Homan, Chase Dehart, Randy Brown (Darryl Tocco filming)
Team 3: Sean Sexton, Aaron Ross, Danny Hickerson (Walter Pieringer filming)
Watch for course drawings and more info coming soon. And in case you don't know what this is all about, here's an excerpt from an earlier Dew Tour press release.
"In addition to showcasing the BMX park, vert and dirt disciplines that have been a staple on the Dew Tour over its five-year history, Nike 6.0 will be adding a 'true street' specialty competition to the first ever Nike 6.0 BMX Open. The street comp will consist of nine riders divided into teams of three with a filmer for each team. The three captains – Garrett Reynolds, Van Homan and Sean Sexton (chosen based on their X Games 14 podium finishes) – will choose their teammates for the competition, and the winning team will be judged by a combination of scores from a jam session on June 26 and a video part created prior to the jam."

If this course is set up pure street, there's a good chance Sexton's team will take it. The awesome thing here is that no one team will dominate the others. I dig it.

all three teams have very good and talented riders on there squad. Everyone who knows anything about bmx knows that these 9 dudes all kill it on a bike, so it's going to be interesting to see who throws down the best lines. I think were going to see some new inventive things at this contest. I can't decide which team to root for.
