TJ Lavin's first album was released today. This album has been in the works for quite some time and you've probably already heard some of Lavin's music here on Vital BMX.
According to the Lav's Lab website, "This may come as a surprise, but TJ has been writing and producing music for over 12 years. He has made it a point to keep his BMX career separate from his music. Why, you may ask? The answer is simple, because TJ is just a regular dude that finally worked up the courage to release his music to the public. The process of releasing a CD has been quite exciting, yet humbling for TJ. It’s all his own material that he personally wrote, recorded, and produced. The beats are original and smooth. The lyrics are straight from his heart and derived from his life experiences."
Lavin also announced today that for every album sold, $2 will will be donated to the Stephen Murray Family Fund. The CD will be available in stores this summer, and you can keep an eye on TJ's website for more info and to hear the songs.
