-For everyone out there who doesn't know, what exactly is Vclub? A crew? A company?

-Jeremy: Vclub is a crew of close friends. We do have product out there, but any profit is used for trips and video projects.
-George: Vclub is a good group of friends who sell shirts on occasion so we can go on more trips and make more videos together.
-Dylan: It's a little bit of both, but mostly just a group of friends that love riding together.
-Randy: It's some of all those.  We make cool clothes, go on sweet trips and make videos.  It wouldn't be what it is without the kick-ass crew that is Vclub.
-Garret: A crew that sell t-shirts and videos?
-Hanson: The best bmx buds I've got.
-Andy: It's a awesome crew for sure! Everyone on the team is a good friend of mine and we pretty much just hang out party and ride/film bike stuff. What more could you ask for?
-Ryan: Vclub is a group of friends who enjoy riding bikes and making videos and clothes.
-Kareem: Vclub is an army, better yet the Navy.

-Where did you travel to film your section?

-Jeremy: I'd say it was a 3-way tie between Maryland/DC area, Austin, and Dallas/FT. Worth.
-George: I’ve got clips in North Texas, Austin, Arizona, El Paso, and Colorado
-Dylan: My stuff was filmed mostly around Texas, but some from Colorado, Maryland, and Arizona as well.
-Randy: My little part was mostly filmed around my house. I didn't get to go to too many places but the trip to AZ added some good stuff to ride.
-Garret: Texas, and Maryland.
-Hanson: Arizona was the only place outside of Austin I went.
-Andy: My filming was done mainly in Texas, besides the AZ trip we went on.
-Ryan: My part was filmed in Austin, Denton, and the Baltimore / DC Area
-Kareem: Dallas 2 Austin.

-Any outstanding injuries?

-Jeremy: At the beginning of filming, I was recovering from a torn ACL. Then halfway through I managed to tear my ACL again. I had a fractured femur, and I think I had about 5 hospital visits for a few other things such as stitches, and minor fractures.
-George:  I knocked out/chipped 3 of my front teeth and had 5 stitches in my lip due to a concrete face plant. But that was my only outstanding injury due to the video.
-Dylan: No, I don't think I got taken out during any V-club trips. I always got hurt filming for something else, or not even filming at all.
-Randy: The broken leg I have right now is my worst break.  Wasn't filming when I went down but it kept me from finishing my section. I know most of us got worked making this one...(video title here)
-Garret: Probably, I filmed most of it 2 years ago. I'm sure I got hurt, I just can't remember.
-Hanson: Somehow I managed to stay completely healthy.  Stretching works!
-Andy: I wrecked my ankle like twice and I dislocated my shoulder once. I also got lots of bumps and scraps along the way.
-Ryan: Jeremy always kills himself and I know George knocked some teeth out as well.
-Kareem: I got hit by a truck so I couldn't film for a long time.

-Who do you think put in the most work for this video?

-Jeremy: George definitely gave about 300% effort on this project.  Not only was he the man behind the camera and edited the whole video, but he also was out there doing some amazing bike moves for his section.
-George: I’d give it a three way tie between Andy, Garret, and Jeremy. They all gave it their all for the sake of the video.
-Dylan: Probably George since he edited the whole thing and filmed a badass part as well. I know Jeremy sent it also.
-Randy: George Boyd, no doubt about it.
-Garret: Andy or George...Jeremy too.
-Hanson: George gave the hours, Hrab gave the blood.
-Andy: I think George did a lot for this video filming a part and editing everything like the trailer and the video. Jeremy did his part in filming and keeping everyone motivated to keep shredding. Do it for the sake of the video he says haha so I give my vote to those two.
-Ryan: Definitely George, this video was his creation.
-Kareem: Everyone except me.

-Whose section are you most siked for people to see?

-Jeremy: I'm psyched for people to check out the video as a whole, but i think George, Garrett, and Andy all have amazing sections.
-George: I think I’d have to say Andy Martinez’s section is one I’m really excited to see people’s response for. Andy shreds.
-Dylan: I think my three faves are Andy's, George's and Garrett's
-Randy: Not mine hahaha.
-Garret: George.
-Hanson: Garrett, just because he filmed it eons ago and it's still unreal.
-Andy:  That's a tough one I'm really pumped on Kareem's part because I know that guy and that part fit him so well. He's a nut haha but I also think Garrett definitely KILLED IT!
-Ryan: Hard to say. Everybody's!
-Kareem: Garrett R or Andy M

-Who parties way too hard?

-Jeremy: Haha, Randy, for sure.
-George: Randy, no doubt.
-Dylan: The DON
-Randy: Not me I swear.
-Garret: Jeremy
-Hanson: Is there such a thing?
-Andy: I dunno, we all get a little loose every now and then.
-Ryan: Kareem, haha
-Kareem: Kareem.

-What does this video mean to you?

-Jeremy: It definitely means a lot to put so much effort into something. It's just awesome to have it come out on DVD. It's something you can look back on years from now and not just a web video that will disappear by next weekend.
-George: A whole lot of good times, camera learning, and friends.
-Dylan: A good way to look back on some awesome times we've had.
-Randy: It means good shit!
-Garret: Good times, I had a lot of fun filming for this video.
-Hanson: Good times with good dudes.
-Andy: It means a lot. We went out and filmed a ton for this and usually it was always just a couple of us so no one really ever got to see what everyone went out and did until the video came out. It's cool that every one finally gets to see everything we've done, and that means a lot.
-Ryan: I see it as a product of everybody's friendship, creativity, and devotion to riding BMX.
-Kareem: It means a lot. I'm glad we got a video that everyone put in work for. Know what I'm saying?

-Got a sweet story from any of the filming trips you took?

-Jeremy: Not really, I can't think of anything that really stood out, except for everyone clocking in at every spot.
-George: There’s a ton but one that sticks out right now would be once when we were filming at the infamous dishes spot (those 2 large capsules set up like a small box jump) and an employee kept coming out to watch us ride while he’d be drinking. His buddies from inside would find time off work to come watch us jumping those capsules. They loved it, but all the employees seemed slightly loony. We got into a discussion with the employees and they ended up taking us inside to see if there was any thing inside the warehouse worth riding and to give us a preview of what those capsules are actually used for (to create lenses for flight simulators). Unfortunately inside there was no more capsules worth riding but we did discover very quickly that the whole warehouse smells strongly of some sort of paint like material. So the guys work all day while breathing in paint like fumes, which explained the loony behavior of the employees, and probably the reason we were allowed to tour the warehouse as well.
-Dylan: Well we always got into something, but my favorite is the story about the banger clip in Hrabal's part.  He crashed so hard trying that gap to grind that he actually cracked his femur! But he had so much adrenaline and dedication that he went pack and pulled it. That's crazy!
-Garret: My trip to Texas was one of my first real trips, so that whole experience in general was amazing. I can't think of any super wild stories just chillin out all day riding when we felt like the heat wasn't too bad and eating good food.
-Hanson: Running into Kyle Hart, Lil Tammy, and Miles in Arizona was a gift and a curse.  Their Evan Williams took Randy to heaven...
-Andy: Randy gets plastered everywhere we go and tries to wrestle with everyone it's funny. You can just push him over haha sorry dude it's funny.
-Ryan: All the road trips I went on were uncharacteristically tame, haha. Getting to explore the desert was cool though. I also heard of Dylan and Walter doing a 70 m.p.h driver switch on their way to Colorado.
-Kareem: Anal sex wit peanut butter.

-What was different about making this video than the Vclub videos of the past?

-Jeremy: Well first off, in the past it was a lot simpler to go out there and film with friends and cruise around, but since then everyone has been picked up by large bike sponsors and their duties to film projects with multiple companies at once definitely took its toll.
-George: Well in the past nobody had any priorities other than filming for Vclub and a couple of us were in high school, so we were able to complete Overexposed much easier. Now a days everyone is hooked up on various teams with more obligations with school, life, etc. Plus with Jeremy moving to Maryland mid way through the video things got complicated as the club was out of TX for the first time.
-Dylan: Less people involved in the editing process, but I think it worked out for the better.
-Randy: Yes.
-Hanson: I wasn't especially involved this time due to filming for Mutiny's Let's Get Mystical and the never ending Empire DVD.  I wish I had more chances to film with the Vclub guys, but there's only so much time in a day.
-Andy: Well this was my first Vclub video so I didn't have much more other that the few clips in the Friends section in the last one.
-Ryan: With this video we were definitely more experienced as filmmakers. There isn't any bro-cam footage or anything and the quality of the editing is much better.
-Kareem: George B knows what he doing so that the only different to me

-What do you think; is there going to be another Vclub video or is it too early to say?

-Jeremy: As long as the world doesn't end anytime soon, I'm sure this isn't the last video you'll see of us.
-Dylan: Too early to tell, it's expensive to finance a full length DVD, but we have a lot of fun doing it. I wouldn't say it's out of the question.
-Randy: Yes.
-Hanson: Falling leaves in the wind, who can say where they're blowin'?
-Andy: I'm sure we can all keep making this happen but we just got done with this one so it might be a while.
-Ryan: I think we may have another one in us.
-Kareem: I'm gonna call it out, there will be one.

Review by Ryan Galvan:

Vclub is a small clothing company based in Texas. They have had many awesome shirt designs in the past and though it might be hard to come across a lot of their product presently, they have shifted their focus elsewhere, For the Sake of the Video. This production, by George Boyd, is in the traditional video part style featuring sections from Garret Reeves, Kareem Williams, George Boyd, Jeremy Hrabal, Randy Taylor, Dylan Smith, Andy Martinez, and a split part from Ryan Smith and Hanson Little. If you were to examine the North Texas BMX scene you would notice that this team is stacked with all the major names from this area, along with the talents of Maryland local Garrett Reeves thrown in the mix. These guys are definitely a strong foundation to build a great video project on, which they did.

George Boyd is a aspiring BMX video producer as well as a rider whose talent really can speak for itself. I would have to agree with most of the team in saying that the work he put in really helped make this video work. His incredible street combos that are both big and technical never cease to amaze. Also the video had a very solid feel due to his editing, this being an improvement over the last Vclub production that felt a little haphazard due to mixed contributions in shooting and editing. In FTSOTV The editing and concept are very consistent throughout the film and stay very entertaining. I see George making a big impact on the BMX industry in the future through both his production and riding. Randy had a good mix of his creative street style in his section and it was definitely good to finally see. Ryan and Hanson had the most versatile section with a good mix of street, park, and trails. They are both very smooth and stylish and this came across in the video. The friend section had a huge mix of people and styles from the Texas area that definitely earned their place in this production. Kareem is a madman who jumps big gaps and onto big rails while listening to Waka Flaka Flame. His part is at times jaw-dropping and always very entertaining. I definitely want to see more from this guy in the future. Dylan is another well rounded rider that went off in this video. He pulled through with one of my favorite parts with his big gaps, tech style and grace. Vclub owner Jeremy Hrabal took the title of biggest balls with his intro crash section that had me wincing with every fall, but through his pain came the strongest section in the video. This guy is not messing around with his brand or his riding. Of course the best crash clip had to be in Garrett's intro with the wallride-to-car-sprocket-stall we all saw in the trailer. For your information, (spoiler alert) he did go back and claim the wallride his own. This along with a lot of good street style and other big gaps rounded out his awesome part. Andy is another Texas local whose name will be well known in the coming years. His creativity and technical skill destroyed in this video. Definitely the most epic video part and the well-deserved ender section.

Many of the team had to deal with injuries and commitments to other projects during the two year production of this video, and this led to this videos only real down fall. At times there would be a slight slowing feeling due to some parts being very short with not enough material to give a true expression of the rider. Given more time to focus on Vclub, each of these featured riders are more than capable of developing a jaw-dropping banger section. This however was not the case in some instances.

All in all this video stands up to the hype and is truly very entertaining. You can always tell the team was having a great time during the traveling and filming of this video, and I really hope they stick to it and release more full-length productions in the future.
