"We’re opening the biggest bmx only shop in Europe. It’s an upgrade from our first shop, things are going well and we’re moving to a bigger place. 3rd of November is the opening and we’ll also have unique stuff on show there including the Seat Beat Exhibition, the first exhibition of it’s sort in bmx which premiered in Berlin in August and will be going on to London, Lyon and then eventually Ohio and i hope NY in the USA. Also we’ll have 25 pairs of the new Nike 6.0 models which were limited to just 48 pairs. The shop is a place where we show many of our prototypes prior to them being seen anywhere else as well as stocking small company brands that people will not find elsewhere. Full mail order service and the rest on www.peoples-store.de ."
"Bruno Hoffman... Our 14yr old rider, won the T-mobile street contest last weekend... HE placed higher than two of Germany’s best riders.... Tobias Wicke and Bommel. The kid is amazing. You can also see footage of him on the next megatour Props issue which was the first one in Europe. Bruno and Hannu Cools rode on the Eastpack team on that, but Wethepeople were also there will a full street team and the first tour that Tobias Wicke has ever taken his brakes off. There you can also find the French killer Luc Legrand... Here’s that guy sometime early last year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPvmhUlw_Xo."
"The video project we’re working on with James Cox was shown as a teaser at Interbike, the rest of the project will be coming out in due course. Not only featuring the new elements of the wethepeople team.. Although unfortunately not Chester Blacksmith because of his semi-recent injury, but other guys who are perhaps new to many as being part of the wethepeople family Andrew Jackson, Farren Downes, Mike Brennan, Bjoern Elvering and more... A street only video. Which should form a good follow up to the Props megatour footage which was filmed almost entirely on spots that you have never seen before. Tobias Wicke, Bjoern Elvering, Luc Legrand, Farren Downes and Max Gaertig were all on that one."
"The new 2008 parts will also be arriving within the next week(s), so the results of our Magma heat-treatment frames will also be finally available for all. That is featured on all our bars, forks and three of the new frames Dave Osatos totally new Chief frame, Tobias Wicke’s Elektro frame and the Lo-Fi frame. Riders looking for ‘the’ light set up would not go far wrong taking a close look at those."
