Gary Young on ActionVillage
Gary Young is now riding for ActionVillage! He joins the already impressive team of Brian Kachinsky, Josh Eilken, Jeff K, and Chris Doyle. Gary had this to say about joining the team:"I just moved into the ActionVillage dorm and I am stoked to hang out with my new neighbors BK, Jeff K, and the D man. We all failed our classes, so it must be time for a road trip."
Here's what Kachinsky had to say about this:
"Gary Young is the Ferdinand Magellan of BMX. He's the guy who navigates all the impossible lines at a park he's never been to but is also kind enough to share them with you. Gary rides like a champ and is always smiling. No matter if he's in a hospital in Thailand or on the X-Games podium, Gary is always a class act. Ever since I met Gary in 2002 he has time and time again amazed me on and off his bike. I look forward to more great times! Welcome to the team Gary!"
Here's what Rick Harold, the owner of ActionVillage, had to say about this:
"We super excited to have the opportunity to work with Gary. Gary is fantastic pro and great all-around guy. We had a very defined strategy ohow we wanted to construct the ActionVillage BMX team and signing Gary rounds out the dynamic that we were seeking. The whole crew at ActionVillage is pumped to work with Gary in the future."

We have just confirmed that Chase Dehart is also off Fit. This comes shortly after it was announced Robbie Morales, Chase Hawk, and Dakota Roche also left Fit.Click here to read a statement from Chris Moeller about the changes at Fit.
Moeller's Statement on Fit Changes
Chris Moeller, the CEO of S&M/FIT, hit this to say about Morales, Hawk, and Roche parting from the company:
"From day one Robbie helped build an amazing team for FIT. I had known Mike, Van and BF for a long time but I actually never imagined they'd ride for us...Robbie did-and he made it happen. He also introduced us all to Edwin, one of the most innovative and influential riders ever. Robbie definitely has a gift for spotting the best and most stylish riders around.
I called Robbie yesterday to ask him about some more shady rumors I heard at Interbike and he got frustrated and abruptly quit his job. I immediately got a call from Hawk and Dak who also quit the team. Months ago I had been approached by Robbie to start a new brand with only the younger team riders so this didn't surprise me but I was bummed to lose these two because I like them both a lot. I have no hard feelings toward any of the guys and I think everyone should do what makes them happy. So good luck boys, and new frame sponsors be aware if you need some Dak or Hawk frame gussets we have some for sale!"
