“PROPS” BMX SERIES DEBUTS NEW SEASON ON FUEL TV APRIL 1

Catch the best BMX action on TV with the new season of “Props” airing for 13 weeks beginning April 1, 2007 only on FUEL TV. Based on the highly successful video magazine series of the same name, this season of “Props” shows were produced exclusively for FUEL TV and include weekly updates on the Road Fools crew and Props Mega Tour teams; an interview with the legendary Mat Hoffman; coverage of the contests and events such as the Kink Demolition Derby, Bone Deth Jam, Ratty Bike Fest, Rebel BMX Jam, and Backyard Jams; and highlights from the FBM Road Trip, and Texas-to-Toronto road trip.

“The great thing about ‘Props’ is that it has stayed true to the core of BMX and has never sold out,” says Shon Tomlin, FUEL TV VP of Programming and Development. “We've always been honored to have the video magazine series on our channel since the start and now are excited to have it evolve into its own TV show. New hosts Catfish and Steve Crandall add a new dynamic to the series without tarnishing the laid-back, action-focused tone of the show. I think ‘Props’ fans and BMX fans in general will appreciate the new format.”

This season of “Props” is hosted by Zachary “Catfish” Yankush and Steve Crandall. These two longtime BMX industry icons show you the latest happenings in the BMX world. Steve Crandall gets in the heads of the top pros in the industry and frankly drives them nuts, while Catfish—well, he’s just nuts. Look for some of the biggest names in BMX including Morgan Wade, Ryan Nyquist, Dave Mirra, Josh Harrington, Chase Hawk, Aaron Ross, Chester Blacksmith, Cameron Wood, Gary Young, and Eben Fisher to make special appearances on “Props” this season.

The “Props” series is a co-production between Props Visual and FUEL TV. Marco Massei is the series executive producer. “Props” is shot and edited by Chris Rye, Stew Johnson, and Walter Pieringer, and is filmed on location throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia.
