-I woke up this morning to what I thought was my alarm clock. It wasn't, it was actually nothing but my biological timeclock malfunctioning. I got on the road wondering why it was so dark outside, then made a (what I thought was) an illegal U-turn that goes into effect an 6am. I made the U-turn at 5:59am, so I was in the clear and on my way to work an hour early. Here I am doing the news......

....we leave for Baco early this afternoon. I'm pretty excited as last year was a wild time for both riding and partying. Tony Cardona flew in two nights ago, Bostrom is rumored to be there, Mulville is back home (at Mesh), and the rest of the Tampa contingent are heading out this evening. I'll have plenty of good stories to tell next week with accompanying pictures.

-We didn't do long sleeves this year, but a new jacket is in the works that should be pretty sweet. Sab's got the design handled, and a sweatshop free manufacturer has the jacket. I'll keep you posted.

-Below are the two ads we worked on this past week. Cardona is going over that railing into a grass bank and saavedra color coordinated his spokes, hubs, spc, and sprocket to match the aqua in the ad. Mike likes to match, seriously. These will be coming out in magazines shortly.

-The Profile bi-ped and block shirts were picked up from the printer on Wednesday. They are now available-below are the images.

-Talked to our good friend Vic Bettencourt from Providence last night for awhile. He's getting his third and fourth knee surgery done next month. One to take out a plate and screws, the other to put them back in with a cadaver ligament. We talked about ligaments for awhile and wondered what one would look like as it was brought out on a platter during surgery. A piece of bacon? A rubber band? A slug? Our bodies are made up of nasty stuff.
Good luck to Vic on a quick recovery-he's like the rest of us, lost without that bike.

-8 tooth cromoly drivers are in the works. Months now in testing and they are still holding up just fine. Five bearings this time instead of four. We will also make 23t sprockets to accompany this little gadget. We'll have pictures of this stuff in the near future.

-I finally saw the FitLife video. It made me restless it was so good. And Brian Foster is living proof that being too old to ride a bike is never an excuse.

Until next time.
