News update, Friday November 17th.

-I sent out a bulletin asking the dudes for news updates and this is what I got:

From Ty, somewhere on a beach in Hawaii:

“There is no need for faith, it is the ecstatic experience itself that gives one faith in the intrinsic unity and integrity of the universe, in ourselves as integral parts of the whole; that reveals to us the sublime majesty of our universe, and the fluctuant, scintillant, alchemical miracle that is quotidian consciousness. Any religion  that requires faith and gives none, that defends against religious experiences, that promulgates the bizarre superstition that humankind is in some way separate, divorced from the rest of creation, that heals not the gaping wound between Body and Soul, but would tear them asunder... is no religion at all!”

I honestly don't know what he's talking about?

I asked Mulville if we could have a meeting on next Friday, he responded:
"I like meetings and lunch is good cause we all gotta eat.”

Brilliant!

From Sab Surroca (our ad guy):
Hey man, had goth night at my house this weekend. Highlights of the night:

- Chad and Eve showing up with blood.
- Cops jumping over my back fence after Prozack sprayed beer on them because he thought they were our friends.
- Cops handcuffing Prozack for 5 minutes then letting him go.
- Cop asking me what goth was then figured out that his girlfriend is goth.
- Mike the dog wearing bat wings.
- Marty showing up with a goth fur coat and mesh long sleeve.
- Drinking and looking very depressed all night.

Sounds like a bonanza

From Alexis Desolneux:

"Just a quick e-mail (about my bike). It's a Twenty with my signature parts, Céleste frame with Ellipse bars and Amplitude forks."

(How does Alexis ride flat, work for a magazine, be a father, and be a husband--amazing--editor's note)

-In other Mulville news, Mulville has quit Manmade clothing on good terms to ride for Baco! Congrats to Mark, but Congrats even more to Chad Degroot and Dave Freimuth for scoring one of the funniest dudes in BMX.

-Profile is putting out four new hats (3 of which will be very limited edition) in the very near future. Check below for the first one that will be released in two weeks.

-A 7075 team issue sprocket will be available in the next couple months. It will involve Cico, Mulville, Chad Moore, and Conall Keenan. Design and colors pending on a meeting we will have next week over a light brunch at high noon.

-8t tooth drivers have come and gone. We will be out of stock for probably two weeks, but check Albe's, Staff, Dan's or Empire Mailorders for current availability.

-Jeff Harrington and Spooky Dave hooked Chris Fernandez up (our Pro Racer) with a "Bitchin Camaro" frame this week. To keep us content while only one of our dudes got free stuff, Jeff sent over some hats and head bands for Conall and Chad (The Take flow dudes) and for some people in the shop. One of which was "Scooter." You might have talked to Scooter on the phone when calling Profile--He's a hard working dude and sometimes actually hard to work with. All in all, he makes the job at the shop interesting. I gave him a head band under the conditions that he would let me take a picture of him. He gave me consent, and then I told him to look like a "bad ass." He told me, "I am a bad ass."

Until next week,

Matt Coplon
