Rye Airfield’s Wicked Jam PRO BMX Contest This Weekend

If you are looking for some fun and exciting entertainment this weekend then Rye Airfield has just what you are looking for. They are hosting the first ever Wicked Jam, a contest that will be a showcase of top amateur and professional BMX riders from all over the world. The list of competitors reads like a who’s who of action sports stars from X Games GOLD Medallist’s Scotty Cranmer, Garret Reynolds and Morgan Wade to Dew Tour pros like Brian Foster, Rob Darden and New Hampshire’s own Brian Hunt. Rye Airfield’s Beau Lambert is definitely fired up about the event. “This will be the first pro contest we have ever held so that alone is exciting, but add in the talent that is coming and we are on a whole different planet. These are the exact same dudes you see on TV with the Dew Tour and X Games and now you can come see them live, for anybody into action sports, it doesn’t get any better than that.” To top it off, they have completely remodeled 10,000 square feet of the park just for this contest, with Brad Jameson of FunDay? Skateparks leading the charge all Fall to be ready in time.

Whether you are a huge fan or casual observer, The Rye Airfield Wicked Jam is not an event you want to miss out on, with world class talent in a premier facility the only thing needed is a crowd of fanatics. Tell your friends and family then head down for an hour, day or weekend of excitement.
