Alienation Slider Pivotal System
Check out Alienation's new pivotal system, the Slider. It's the first pivotal seat (compatible with any post) that's able to move forward and black. Here's what Alienation had to say about this new contraption:· This Slider Pivotal system is Exclusive to Alienation.
· Basing the movement on a standard Pivotal seat: The Slider Seat can move 5mm forward & 20mm backwards.
· The Slider seat base is 210mm long & 110mm wide.
· Weighs slightly less than a standard Pivotal seat.
· 100% compatible with all Pivotal seat posts.
Alienation BMX will be showing the Slider seats, and their new color-ways at Interbike. More photos and info to come.

Too far up? The seat is adjustable! The whole idea is to have the option to put it in any position YOU want it in. The standard pivotal position, if you are used to it, is also there. Plus anyone who rode prior to the pivotal scene will tell you that having the seat back a little bit gives you more room on the frame to do certian tricks. Plus, lighter than standard pivotal seats??? This is a no brainer! Great idea. This will be the new standard in pivotal seats.

most prototypes look like a crap product, but this looks like a good one because every rider has there own way of how they want there bike to be

this is just showing how it works. there will be a decent amount of seat covers coming out with the release of the seat.

They should have just came up with this in the beginning. That's why I don't ride pivotal cause I can't slide the seat forwards/back. But now, I see a reason to ride pivotal. Not a big fan of the way this seat looks, but I'm sure there will be more options in the future.

The notches are too far up, although it might keep the front of the seat breaking off like ive seen a lot of pivotals do.

the rubber part on the top is probably like 2 inches long. unless they somehow came up with some crazy way.

Damn it!!!!!!! When Pivotal seats came out and companies other than Macneil started making their own I drew exactly this desing for pivotal seatposts.I think having a patent on it would had made it exclusive to ME.Next time I'll make my ass get things done right so I get royalties over stuff I think of.Ha!Who would have thought it...

steve, no one rides their seat like that cause everyone ride pivotal now haha. but if you check out some of the trendy kids with stripped railed seats that are slammed to the top tube, they are prolly positioned like that
