for all the dumb comments about stretching chains: REMOVE A LINK
For all the full blown retarded ones about ur wheeling moving from hard landings: the wheel is moving up so it will slam into the drop out, it loads from the bottom, perfect design for those of us whose ice picks slam hard
that woud suck i think if u rode heavy street and did some dig drops it would push the wheel out and if ur chain stretches ur gonna have to take out a link.
This is fucking stupid. Its not innovation at all. Who has a problem with their current set up? No one should, and if you do you must be a terrible mechanic. Who wants their wheel to move everytime you land hard? Why "fix" something that isnt broke? Answer me fools.
the dropout slots are diagonal...the top is about a link further...when you sit on it with a tight chain the axle only goes half way up the slot...as it stretches the axle will go up a little more...if you have stretched more than a full link take one out. clean ...... hope the slots locations are jigged precisely though.
huge problem no one has realised yet
normal chains move forward slightly after a while right? surely this frame is more prone to movement because there is nothing to stop the wheel other than the axle nuts. what would happen if you landed a huge gap/drop? the wheel would move up, stretching the chain. the chain would snap, and your face would smash
i guess u have to make sure you took off the right amount of links to make the chain tight well it looks wired but no more bent drop outs 4 all the people who wheels get stuck lol
Oh damn. My Shadow chain stretched an inch. What do I do now? Oh. I'll just pull it back...no wait. We'll I guess I'll just but a new chain every week.
