Odyssey Twombolt Cranks

These are Odyssey's new Twombolt cranks. They're an updated version of their Wombolt cranks and here is some info on them straight from Odyssey:
- Updated mating arm lug for improved fit and increased durability.
- All-new cluster design that optimizes the arm’s interface, simplifies assembly, and makes use of a durable AND replaceable elastic retainer band.
- Greatly improved overall function and performance proven both in the lab and during extensive long-term riding.
- 2 lbs. 2.5 oz. / 978g (with Bottom Bracket). 1 lb. 13.5 oz. / 836g (without Botom Bracket).

Twombolts are one of THE strongest cranks ever made but what sucks about them is that the have the tendency to loosen by themselves every couple months.

I'm 165 pounds. Been riding the Odyssey Twombolt cranks for over a year. JUST TODAY, I snapped them. Funny thing. The right hand side crank snapped instead of the side with the bolt. I've loved them ever since today. I would recomend them but if you like do jump off stuff I wouldn't buy them unless your light weight or really smooth.

.i heard some bad shit about them being a diehard profile rider makes me skeptical but odyssey makes good stuff and all but i had the 41thermal cranks and there were always so hard to get on and off. Ile give these a shot though......

I've been running original Wombolts for about a year now, and they are incredible cranks. I didn't think they needed any improvement, but after looking at Odyssey's website, I can see the changes they made are definitely worthwhile, particularly the new wedge cluster retaining band. Nice work Odyssey: You've come a LONG way since the 80s...
