Pro-Wheel Racing BMX Wheels

Pro-Wheel Racing Components has been making quality motorcycle wheels for years and have now branched off into also doing some BMX stuff. Dave Mirra has been testing there wheels for over a year now and is really stoked on their performance and it's just a matter of time until you'll be able to pick up some of these wheels for yourself. The owner of Pro Wheel is like a dad to my brother and he takes alot of pride in his company. I know for a fact that he would never put his name on a product unless it was quality. I have seen the wheels first hand and they are strong, smooth rolling, and the spokes keep tension better than traditional hubs. If you want a wheel set that will hold up and will get some attention everywhere you go. And for all you NW people out there Pro Wheel is out of Granite Falls, WA so support your local wheel company.

jamiedub08 :
Spokes are alway used in tension, in no way spokes in any wheels even with bent should receive any compression (you never push on it). So the rim has to bent a large amount before it can slip trough, with traditional spokes, the spokes that does not have any remaining tension will buckle

these wheels are ok.. but wouldnt because the spokes dont have a bend at the bottem( hub end ) there is no where for pressure to go so it can just slip through causing deformation in the rim shape? .. this maybe something to take in to detail pro wheels
just a thought

these wheels suck. i rode one of the rear wheels "round wheels" for all of about three hours and it was garbage. the hubs don't hold up to grinding. if the flange gets hit one time, there is no way to ever get a spoke through it again. also, the driver starting skipping and i tried to take it apart and it was seized together. when you are as good as a guy like dave mirra, you could ride any wheel and it will hold up. the true test is people like me and the rest of the you. the rims are really good though, because they are alien nation.

did all you guys talk down tree's hubs when they showed pics at interbike? its the same thing but these guys have more experience in the field of wheel and hub design then tree so i would trust these over tree hubs.

not a bad idea if any one has a dirtbike or something like that look how the hub is laced it is the same way as this rim
