Tree Stem
Tree just sent over some photos and information on their new stem. Check 'em out:
Here are a few spy pictures of our new stem. The stem clamps the headtube with a slit tube piece machined with a taper. As the stem bolt clamps the handlebar it also compresses the slit tube around the headtube. Its possible to adjust the bars separate from the headtube by loosening only the bolts in the front of the bar.
The stem is made from 6061 t6 aluminum. The first prototype weighs in at 7.9oz. It is proudly made in the USA at Super Rat Machine shop!

when does it come out? this would be like the best stem ever because this is probably the only stem thats actually "knee friendly"

this is sweet! but id like it better if they could somehow have the bults in the front like a front load cuz its so much easier to tighten with them like that.

great use on the compression nut design. Tree is bringing out the GOODS ! Now this after those sweet straight pull hubs with the snap ring bash guards... Get it out to us- just release this stuff.

im a little leary of stems that dont have an actual clamp on the fork but it does look swet if it comes in red i may try it
