“Pretty Solid Bike”

The Good: This bike is a great bike for beginners who are wanting to get serious about BMX. The bike is innexpensive and reletively light for the price. The frame geomometry is forgiving and pretty dialed for almost anything you can throw at it.

The Bad: Considering the other completes available, this bike is pretty light for the price you pay, but still carrys a bit of weight. I've found that the headset will become loose often and requires a quick tightening from time to time, especially if you ride hard. The cranks started to show signs of weakness after the first 6 months. I broke the pedals the first day I rode it, and the sprocket is weak. The rear hub is also pretty low budget and is prone to pop and does not have verry quick engagement. The stock pegs are a peice of poo and weigh as much as a bus.

Overall Review: I have had my Helio for over a year and I ride at least 4 times a week. I have replaced everything in favor of lighter/stronger parts except the wheels/hubs and stem/headset. The frame is great and perfect for trails, park, and light street. I'm 6.0ft and 210lbs and the Helio has held up to everything I have thrashed. I highly recomend this bike if you are looking for a bike to get you started and build up as you progress. Without pegs, the bike only weighs around 24 1/2 pounds stock. You can easily drop weight off this bike and really make a sweet ride. I have fell in love with the geometry and as I look for a new lighter frame, I will try to match the overal geometry as close as possible to my Helio.

“nice nice nice”

The Good: everything on this bike is nice.the only problem im having is with the bottom bracket, have now got colony hell stallion forks, colony official stem, snafu chunk lite 28t sprocket, colony stump seat post and pivotal colony seat, diatech brake arms, snafu c lever, oddysey liniear cable, oddysey tiwisted pc's and shadow conspiracy half link chain.

The Bad: nothing at all

Overall Review: very nice bike i highly reccomend it.form factory it is super smooth havewnt had any troubles with wheel bearings, have been riding it for nearly a year now and wheel spokes only just starting to loosen.it is reasonable weight for a relatively cheap bike and cockpit isnt cramped seat comfortable.AT first i thought dk was bad but this changed my mind forever definantly better than eastern and forgotten and those sorts of brands.so if you have the chance pop around to your local biek shop and have a look at one of these things.
