    "great bike for the price"

    Rating:

    The Good: Full cromo frame, fork, bars, and crank

    The Bad: single wall rims, and unsealed hubs

    Overall Review: I rode a 2009 version for an entire summer when I was thinking about getting back into bmx. I had to true the rims about once a month, and switched out the peddles, but it looks like the new one comes with better ones.The only reason I upgraded my frame is that I'm 6'-3" and wanted a 21" or longer top tube. This bike has a 20.5" top tube. If you're looking for a bike that is a little more expensive, but has double wall rims, and a sealed front hub I'd go with the Stollen Hiest. that has a 20.75" top tube. Over the last couple years I've swithched out almost every part. Not because they broke, but because I wanted something lighter, bigger, or stronger, but I'm still rocking the bars. I'm buying some new bars for my birthday for my custom bike. Then I'm going to rebuild the helio for a back up.
