    frame is great pedals suck the pins aren't replaceable. had to get new pedals within the first month. rims are ok but new ones are already in the mail. should have bought just the frame and added my own parts would have been better off

    my room mate just got this bike and it's a pretty sweet ride. stem's a little long and i don't like the way the brakes are set up. the back rim is to skinny to have any kind of an angled pull on the brake arms. Other than that it's a sweat bike with a great frame. heat treated headtube bottom bracket and dropouts. Can't beat that on a complete.

    this bike should be great the only problem i had with my 07 black pearl was that i broke a few freewheels and had to replace the back wheel with a cassette hub but the 08 is coming with a cassette hub and look mad so it should be sick

    great bike I currently have a black pearl and it is GREAT!!! haven`t had to fix it or anything over the last year
