“Great Combo for Front Wheel”
The Good: Female hub
Spins and rides very smooth and fast
Low maintenance
Pretty strong and holds up if maintained
Very good for the money
Works well with front pegs
The Bad: Pinned and not welded
One occasion I had the bolt on the peg side loosen when combined with my plastic sleeves against the dropout. Took sleeves off and it's great. I guess they just need to be tighter than normal with plastic.
Overall Review:
This came on my 2013 Kink Transition complete bike and I really do love this setup for the front wheel. Even though it's not a welded seem I couldn't see this as becoming a problem being on the front. My rim only barely went out of true and the spokes loosened, but this is normal for every new wheel. Keep it nice and true and tight and this wheel will hold up nicely. The price is right too; don't worry that it's MIssion branded and that it's not good enough because most likely this will hold up to a lot of riding styles if well maintained.
